What’s left of Hurricane Ida is moving up in this direction slowly, but it’s still packing plenty of moisture. It seems like it still has a feeder band off the Gulf of Mexico to feed it more tropical moisture. It’s not really a tropical system anymore, but it still has the moisture.

Models have been shifting the rain a bit north of here, whereas yesterday. It’s not the exact details of it that I find interesting, but the setup of it. It’s astonishing to me what the weather models are capable of.
