Toxic Fumes From A Meteorite

Mystery illness strikes after meteorite hits Peruvian village[^1]

This was pretty interesting, I thought.

In a rural area of Peru, a meteor or at least it sounds like a meteor fell from the sky and left a 100 foot wide and 20 foot deep crater.

The crater emitted a gas that made people sick. I’m curious what happened there and hope scientist get to figure it out.
