I was browsing on Amazon and came across these Carson Magnifiers that were cheap. It’s perfect for me.

My old trusty Vanguard DM 8250 telescope wore out. That was a perfect one for me, and sadly, they don’t seem to make them anymore. The hunt begins for something else.

The guy down the street has 3 dogs that bark non stop all day long. They are the kind with loud barks. I love dogs but don’t want to hear them all day long.

It’s always great to see unexpected wildlife coexisting with humans. Today we spotted this toad under the hose.

We were sitting outside like we do most evenings. This evening we were watching two bunnies hopping around the neighbor’s yard and eating.

We searched and searched for butterfly weed last year but wound up only finding swamp milkweed. It came back up this year. We don’t have any monarchs yet but a bumble bee found it and has been hanging out on it all day.

We were out at the shopping center where they’re putting Whole foods in Lancaster today and saw a bunch of ducklings walking along the building.

One frustration I do have with android is that they don’t get security updates in a timely manner. It’s just the way businesses think now. Sell it and forget about it.

How ironic it is to have to post this today. I went to check the sprouts on our milkweed. A bunch of them were broken and smashed. The non Parented neighbor kids were out there last night.

Last fall I gathered a bunch of milkweed seeds from the pods on our plants. I thought it was worth a try to try to grow some. It took forever for them to sprout but they eventually did after I had given up.
