I enjoy most if not all of Nile’s music. As much as I love their fast and brutal stuff “To Dream Of Ur” has to be my favorite song.“

I have been listening to Alice in Chains’ old stuff live on YouTube. Layne Staley was so talented.

I’m beginning my search for a portable music player. It needs to have a fairly large screen that’s readable for me. It needs to have expandable memory and Bluetooth.

The album Obscura by Gorguts is just so heavy and addicting. It’s not an easy listen, but when it clicks, you keep discovering new levels.

I picked up Dream Theater’s Black Clouds And Silver Linings. I really am liking this CD a lot.

Dystopia is really dark sludgy stuff. I rediscovered them recently but used to hear them on the college radio station back in the 1990s. Good raw music to ruin any day.

I finally picked up Deeds Of Flesh’s Portals Of Canaan. I really like it a lot. My interest has shifted more towards this type of death metal.

I discovered Virvum recently when my thyroid levels were way off. I was sleeping poorly so I listed to a lot of streaming music. I hard Illuminance by them and really liked it so I bought it.

I’ve been wanting to get a new portable music player. It needed to play FLACs, have expandable memory and Bluetooth. I settled on a Fiio M11 after my girlfriend’s Fiio M7 has worked so well for her.

My old headphones served me well until I got the cable caught in the chair and broke it. I took that as a good opportunity to pick up Bluetooth ones. I got Sennheiser HD 4.40s and really like the sound of them.

We went to Extremities in Lebanon today. It’s so nice to root through physical cds in a store. It’s the first time we’ve been there in years.

One of my favorite ways to discover new music is to listen to something I like on YouTube and just let it go to whatever is next.

Floor Jansen is awesome. When Molly discovered Nightwish I was reminded of just how good she is. I’d heard her in After Forever but never realized how much she’s done.

I have been looking for a portable music player. I took out my old Creative Zen and it won’t charge. I need expandable space and would really like something like my girlfriend’s Fiio m7 but with larger text.

Acid Bath was such an awesome sludge band in the 90s. It’s really a shame that have never done anything else. Dax Rigg’s voice was so unique too.

Ozzfest will be free this year according to what I read this year. Ten years ago I would have wanted to go but these days you couldn’t pay me to go.
