HTML5 Fraction Codes

HTML has some built in codes to make Unicode fractions. I’m sharing this table because I personally always forget and want type &fract instead of &fract. Sure there are other places to find it but this page will be ad and tracker free for my own use or if anyone else fonds this sort of thing handy.

FractionCode
½½
⅓
½⅓
¼¼
¾¾
⅕
⅖
⅗
⅘
⅘
⅚
⅛
⅜
⅝
⅞

Another option that I’ve recently discovered is using the ⁄ code. This can make any fraction, not just the ones tahat are supported by HTML5 and Unicode. I may convert all of my past uses to this format sometime.

For example, to get 23⁄27 use this code 23⁄27 It is not as nice looking but it does work.

In the past I would just use something like .75 instead of ¾ but I think the fraction looks nicer and is more readable to humans.
