Last night was another warm and humid one with the low in the lower 70s. The dew point was in the lower 70s too when I woke up. By mid morning the temperature and dew point were both in the mid 70s under cloudy skies. Late morning brought some sunshine and south easterly winds picking up a bit. There were fast growing cumulus towers. Thunder started shortly after 1:00 PM. We finally had some very heavy thunderstorms move through this afternoon but the bulk of them missed us. We still picked up almost ½ of an inch of rain. The sun came out for a bit after the rain moved off to the east.
