This morning it was just a little cooler. It was in the lower 70s when I woke up at 4:30 AM. Under the sunny sky it warmed quickly into the lower 80s by 9:00 AM this morning. It was in the mid 90s this afternoon with a heat index above 105 ℉. We had a decent slow moving thunderstorm move through during the evening. There was plenty of lightning with it and decent winds. Awesome shelf cloud ahead of it too. The storm cooled it from the mid 90s to the low 70s in short order.
