Fun Websites
This will have fun websites. Not in anyway useful or informational just things that I find to be fun.
- Geocaching - High tech treasure hunt. We still prefer to use a stand alone GPS because that’s how we started in the early 2000s but you can use a smart phone now. It’s helped us discover tons of new places.
- Kagi Small Web - Kagi Small Web showcases some non commercial website that people have made. It shows some recently published content from the “small web.” It’s like old school web surfing.
- My 80s TV - This is a great nostalgic site for me. They have a TV that looks like one from the era where you can tune into shows, news and other things from that time.
- My 90s TV - This like the 80s one but 90s instead.
- Neocities - Neocities is similar to what Geocities used to be. There’s plenty of interesting old school sites on there.
- Radio Garden - This site can be really interesting to go kill some time on. It’s a map of streaming radio stations all over the world.
- The Forest - This site takes to you random site from their list. Sort of like the old web when it was fun to disvover new things.
- Web Design Museum - This is is interesting to me with galleries of old web design and old websites. There were a lot of bad websites back then but a lot of more interesting and creative designs too. These days everything is basically the same.
