It was a little cooler and less humid last night with some showers coming through. The low temperature and dew point were both in the mid 60s. It didn’t take long for the sun to come out after sunrise. Under the partly to mostly sunny skies the temperature rose to the lower 80s by lunchtime. A large cumulus cloud built then slowly eroded near lunchtime. Other areas had station thunderstorms again. The storms kept popping just to our north until later this afternoon when some brought us some much needed rain. Other than that the storms were nothing special here. We wound up getting nearly &fract12; of an inch of rain from them.
