It was a little cooler this morning with the temperature being in the mid 60s when I woke up about 5:00 AM. The morning started out somewhat cloudy but the sun quickly came out and the temperature rose quickly. It was in the mid 70s by mid morning. Although it was another hot and humid day it was not quite as bad as recent days. It didn’t quite make it to 90 ℉ by late this afternoon. Late this afternoon some storms started popping up to our south. There was hours of thunder and lightning here this evening but the storms missed us for the most part so we got some light rain at best with a light show.
