This morning was another cold one but not quite as cold as yesterday was. When I woke up it was in the middle 20s but the overnight low had been in the lower 20s. I saw the moon so I know it wasn’t fully overcast yet. Late this morning the snow moved into the area and it wasted no time accumulating. By mid afternoon the temperature was in the lower 30s with heavy snow falling. We had about two inches by then. The temperature was actually dropping then. Late this afternoon I was hearing the sleet pinging. The sleet was falling heavily before mixing with rain. By early this evening it inched above freezing with rain falling.
