I woke up in the middle of the night and it was in the mid 30s and pouring When I got out of bed this morning it was just below freezing with heavy snow falling. It was a very heavy and wet snow and dumping from the sky so it was piling up quickly after sunrise. The snow ended abruptly around 10:00 AM for a total of about six inches. The temperature rose above freezing so it fell off the trees and began melting. By late morning it had become mostly sunny and breezy with the temperature rising into the upper 30s. With the full the sunshine it got into the middle 40s. The snow was mostly gone by this evening. Between the rain and snow melt we had nearly and inch and a half water equivalent of precipitation from this storm. It was a nice juicy one.
