Last night was much milder. The overnight low was in the upper 20s but it was cloudy and in the lower 30s when I woke up this morning. When it got light out it showed fairly thick clouds and overcast skies. The clouds thinned some towards lunchtime and there was even some faint hazy sun shining. It was into the upper 30s by then. Shortly after that some light showers moved into the area. The rain became steadier and a bit heaver shortly thereafter and started accumulating. The high temperature this afternoon was only in the lower 40s which was below the forecast.
