Rust has always intrigued me from the first time I read about it. In the past, I was too caught up in other things to really focus on it, but now I feel like I have the time.

This winter, I will slowly work my way through the Rust book. If I do learn it and find the language useful, I will buy the book at some point, but for now, I am using the web version. I think it would just be a good way to give back. I am going to make it a point to keep going over a section or chapter until it sinks in.

I find the language pretty easy to read and understand. Of course, I don’t know all the syntax or keywords yet, but that will take time. It seems to be a powerful language.

I just need to have patience. Patience isn’t one of my strengths. I’ve always been one to want it now and want it all immediately. I know it takes time to learn things. It’s still so hard for me to get from the point of first starting to learn something to the point that I can use it.
