I’m gifted with the ability to tune out commercials 99% of the time. Even if I do not tune it out, I don’t remember the product. The one thing that I always, always notice is drug commercials.

You know, the ones. The depression ones that play happy music and have one line about how it’s the greatest thing ever, then the entire rest of the commercial goes on listing side effects. Warning some side effects include new or worsening depression. Talk to your doctor if you have suicidal thoughts. They keep listing off all these nasty side effects, then the happy music is back on.

I don’t understand how anyone would want this sort of shit when they spend more time talking about the terrible side effects than they do the benefits.
