Daily Weather Review

This morning when I woke up it was very mild. The temperature was in the middle 50s. We did not get that much rain over night. This morning the radar had a convective appearance to it. The day was cloudy from the start but it grew darker for mid morning with some showers here. Evidently there were some thunderstorms close enough for my weather station to pick up lightning. Mid morning brought a temperature in the upper 40s with our rfirst lightning and thunder of the year. There wasn’t much rain but a couple somewhat loud thunders. It is February and radar shouldn’t have looked like it did this morning. The high this afternoon was just above 60℉ again. The dew point was well into the middle 50s make for a humid February day. The cold front meant business when it came through. It brought crashighn dew points and gusty winds. The wind was howling when I went to bed.
