This morning when I woke up it was much colder outside and more seasonable. The temperature was in the lower 30s and air much drier. The wind seemed to have settled down. The sky looked clear when I woke up with the moon shining in the window. It dropped into the upper 20s near sunrise. This leap day morning featured bright sunshine and deep blue skys other than a few small clouds here and there. In spite of the mostly sunny conditions it was only in the upper 30s by early afternoon. The high this afternoon was in the lower end of the mid 40s. The temperature dropped pretty quickly this evening.
