A little while back I was looking into the other things that street parking offers and I came across the 20 rep squat program. I decided to give it a try. So far so good, I started at only 95 pounds and now I am up to 155 as of today. It’s been feeling pretty good with no missed reps and not feeling heavy yet.
In the past I have had success with lots and lots of heavy singles but I saw this program and thought I’d see how it feels.
The worst part of the 20 rep squats is the breathing. Nothing a couple of deep breaths here and there doesn’t fix but it does break it up a little bit.
I’m anxious to see where it takes me. It’s not the first I’ve heard of doing the high reps of squats but it’s the first time I wanted to try it. I’m always open to trying new things out when I can. I just thought before it would take too much out of me to do the high rep squatting.
I have been having a lot of fun with the challenge of their twenty rep squat program. I’d recommend giving it at try if your form is pretty good at squats.
