I don’t get how a race horse dying is newsworthy, especially considering how few people care about it. Sure it was bred locally but who cares?

This past week has been cold, with no real snowfall. I think it’s a big waste of cold air.

I have been reading about the Delorme PN-20 GPS and it looks pretty interesting to me. It even comes with maps instead of having to buy them separately. I ’d like to try one out.

I saw on the news last night that thieves stole copper pipes from a vacant house. I guess they stole the gas line too and neighbors smelled the gas.

It’s finally feeling like winter around here. We should have a chance of snow squalls with an arctic cold front.

Molly wanted a DVD last night so she could finish watching 24. We went to blockbuster to find it. That one disk cost a quarter of what I pay a month for Netflix and we could only keep it two days.

Breaking news - microwaves make things hot. I saw an article about microwaving sponges to kill germs. Apparently people saw it and didn’t know it could catch fire if it’s dry or in too long.
