I discovered just how useful FFmpeg really is today. I had always thought it was just a library that other programs use, but I can use it for command line editing too!

Today I stumbled across the winamp skin museum and that brought back the memories of using that program to play mp3s that I’d downloaded from napster and mp3.com. I descovered and purchased a tone olf music because of that.
I am looking into alternative editors for markdown. I’ve been using Kwrite and it works well enough but if I could find something more catered to markdown I think it might be useful.
I tried out Firefox 4 Beta9 today. The GUI sucks. It is much faster than Firefox 3, at least. Not sure why they feel the need to copy Chrome’s poor GUI choices.
I read about Google Chrome so I had to try it out. I didn’t like it. No menus and no title bar kill it for me. No addons made it a real no go for me.
I have been using Firefox 3 since the beta version and I’ve been really pleased with it. It seems so much faster than the old version was.
I have been seeing sites blocking websites when you use Firefox because of adblock. It’s not Firefox that’s the problem. It’s the shitty ads.
