Last night, I was woken up by thunder. We had a decent storm with some very close lightning strikes. The storm looked spectacular, being lit up by the full moon after it passed.

I can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to finally explore SDF’s server.
I have been back and forth on whether I wanted to attempt my back squat PR set at three hundred and ten pounds today. Ultimately, I decided to go for it and see how it felt.
Today was the first full day of summer. Here in Lancaster County, it was a cool and damp one.
I was relaxing and watching the Phillies game after supper. While watching it, I noticed the glow coming from the front door. As always, I had to go check it out and was treated to a nice, bright sunset.
I felt good this morning, so I was anxious to get out in the garage and do my bench press. While warming up with just the bar, the adjustable bench fell to the bottom position. I guess it wasn’t set right. I reset it and bounced my weight on it, and it was fine.
Today was a good day. We got the vault WOD done together outside this morning. Later on in the afternoon, I decided to get my squats done early. The squats were very heavy, and I did better than I expected.
I have been predominately using Kagi Search with great results. I just accidentally clicked on the old Google bookmark and saw yet another annoyance with the way they’ve changed to add to the list.
This morning I woke up feeling good, so I was eager to get at my squats and see how they went. This was the the five plus AMRAP at 280 pounds. If I got the five, it would be a lifetime PR.
That wildfire smoke from Canada was crazy. In the past, we’ve had hazy skies, but this time you could taste it and smell it. Visibility dropped to less than a mile.
