I wanted a challenging but simple WOD for today. I settled on redoing an old death by burpees workout with my twenty-pound weight vest.
I have been sleeping great, but still, the squats for today were really tough.
I slept poorly last night, then tripped on the stairs in the middle of the night to get more water. Somehow, I was fine and got a squat double at three hundred pounds.
I did sleep decently again last night. I drank my coffee and was ready to get a workout in.
I did my presses, and they went okay. After that, I did a WOD with squats and rowing that really filled my legs with lactic acid.
I slept great last night, but I’ve been feeling tired all day. My deadlifts this morning felt great, then I went for a heavy single front squat this evening.
I’ve been holding off on my squats because I was sick and bloated, but I finally got around to this week’s session this morning. I still wasn’t feeling it, but I got them done.
Molly picked up Goat Simulator 3 for the Xbox, and I’ve been playing it. It’s pretty fun.
We went to Joy’s last night, so, of course, I slept poorly. I still wanted to push it with a WOD this morning, so I did today’s SHIFT WOD but on the bike.
Today in the home gym was a bit of a mental adventure, but I got my shit done. Things just kept going wrong for me.
