I didnβt sleep well or for nearly long enough last night. My elbow was pissed too, but my bench press went better than I expected it to.
Even though I am tired today, I did my bench press and then a WOD bright and early this morning.
My bench press felt great this morning. A little while later, I did a workout that was just air squats and the assault bike. That burned.
My wrist cyst popped the other day, and I think thatβs why bench press felt totally off today. I heavily favored the opposite side.
Today in the home gym was a bit of a mental adventure, but I got my shit done. Things just kept going wrong for me.
I felt great with my bench press today, then decided to do a bike interval WOD. That was a stupid idea.
My hand felt good with no sensitivity today, so I got my bench press in and then a super light shift workout in to test it out.
This morning, I felt good. I was a bit tired from being up watching the Eagles game, but I got to the garage gym as soon as I felt like I wouldnβt be an ass to the neighbors.
I felt good this morning, so I was anxious to get out in the garage and do my bench press. While warming up with just the bar, the adjustable bench fell to the bottom position. I guess it wasnβt set right. I reset it and bounced my weight on it, and it was fine.
Yesterday was a shitshow for me in the home gym. Everything that could go wrong did. Today was the opposite of that. Everything went great, felt great and I had no fuckups.
Some days are like today. Nothing seems to go right at all. I couldnβt get the bench lined up right. Used the wrong weight for bench press, and then I did a WOD that had tons of hop overs.
Today was a pretty shitty day for me in the home gym. I wasnβt feeling the bench press at all, but did get it done. My first two attempts at WODs were both a no-go Finally, I found one to do.
Todayβs WOD sort of repeat WOD. It had the same doublet of movements, but different numbers and a slightly different format. I was disappointed at my result at first until I relaxed that last time I used a lighter dumbbell.
This morning I did my bench press then a tough bike WOD. Later on in the evening, I got the bright idea to do the hundred kettlebell snatches challenge.
Today was a great day for my 1+ AMRAP back squats. They Felt Great. The first attempt at a WOD didnβt feel so great, and I changed my mind on it.
This afternoon it became sunny and fairly mild, so I decided to take my strongman sandbag out on the patio and get a dirty work WOD in.
It was another hotter than hell day today, but thankfully the air conditioner works well. I got my lifts in and everything felt pretty good. The bench felt better than I expected, after last time.

It has been another hot day today. Thankfully, the air conditioner helped me sleep last night and the one in the garage made it tolerable to do my lifting. I was having some cramping yesterday after doubling up on WODS.
This morning was a great day for lifting. I hit my heavy squats with ease. After lifting, we did some running around. By the time we got home and I went outside to do a sled WOD, it was just too hot.
Today, my lifts went okay. I passed on the good mornings since I was feeling off with them. Shortly after that, we did a rough sled WOD.
This morning was more humid than it has been, and the humidity is creeping up as the day goes on. It wasnβt bad enough to drastically affect me in the garage, though. I did as expected on my lifts and surprisingly well on an interval row.
Todayβs lifting went great. I didnβt know how focused Iβd be able to be after an extremely close lightning strike this morning.
I wasnβt really feeling it today and on top of that, my neck is stiff from the way I slept. My knee left out a good pot right before bed but felt fine, so I went light with the squats as a precaution
Today was not as hot as the past couple of days, but itβs certainly still humid, at least for now. I made for a challenging time for my lifting session with all the sweat dripping down my face and everywhere else.
Today was one of those days when I was just enjoying myself in the garage. My lifts were fun. They were not too heavy or too light. Shortly after that, I did a fun old WOD.
Today is the first hot day of the year, with it getting into the Nineties. This morning was just humid. I did my lifts early, and they all went well. Later during the afternoon in my infinite stupidity I did a WOD, and it went okay. Just lots of cramping.
I felt like I had to rush to get to my lifts this morning. We had to go to my step grandsonβs birthday and had no idea when we were going. Thankfully, my lifts were light, and I got out in the garage early in the morning and got through them pretty quickly. Had fun seeing all the grandkids later.
Today I did my old Crossfit Trinium one rep max back squat weight for sets of five today, and they felt great. The other lifts were less aggressive. Later I did an old WOD with numerous lunges and that felt good.
This morning, a good and bad day for me in the garage. The heavy back squats felt great. The bench press just wasnβt happening. The WOD I chose to do was brutal but doable.
I slept better last night, which helped. It is also windy outside today, but more importantly much less humid today. I ended up having an excellent and fun day lifting in the home gym.
I usually enjoy my lifting sessions. Some days come along like today where I was just having fun with it. Everything went well, not easy but well. I challenged myself some and was just in that good zone.
I was awake half the night last night again. I woke up after a short period of good sleep feeling great. I drank my coffee and got at my thankfully fairly easy day of lifting and did and felt great.
I really did not sleep well last night and wasnβt feel like doing anything. I had to wait around in the afternoon so I had to do my strength earlier than I would have liked.
I actually slept straight through the night again and woke up feeling great. This really helped me with my strength today as I had some heavy for me back squats to do then moderate bench press. The squats looked as great if not better than they felt.
I really wasnβt feeling it this morning but I did my strength anyways this morning. In the end my lifts all wound up actually feeling great!
I woke up early and squeezed in my lifting session before we had to do other things. When we got home we did the vault WOD together.
My strength today went poorly but at least I expected it. I didnβt eat nearly enough calories the past couple of days to recover and I woke up way too early this morning.
This morning I did manage lots of good lifting. Everything went great with nothing close to a bad rep or fail. Even did the twenty rep squats and SP deadlift program.
Today I had a perfect day in the home gym. Everything went exactly as well as it could have gone.
One single cloud first appeared in front of the sun giving that awesome winter irreverence effect that you see at times when the clouds are ice crystals
I enjoyed my day in the garage gym today. It wasnβt the best of days or the worst of days but it was good to lift. My knee was bugging me a bit so I lowered my back squats weight to keep it from flaring up.
I missed doing my strength yesterday because the washer drained on the floor and spent the day cleaning that up. Today I got to do my lifting and it was just what I needed.
This morning both my neck and hip left out a missive crack. I wasnβt sure if that was going to adversely affect my lifting today or not because I did feel a slight weakness after both.
I got my lifting in today. Good with the heavy back squats but nope on the bench press. Right after that I jumped into and endurance WOD that turned out to be about ten thousand meters on the rower.
I did my lifts this morning and then did a longer endurance type of WOD. Both felt really good today and it was nice to be done with both by right about lunchtime.
Today was a pretty good day for my lifts. It actually was much better than I expected to be going by how I felt this morning.
Iβm still doing my strength every other day but I just havenβt posted about it. Today it went really well again.
I Made my very heavy front squats today at 240 pounds. That was a PR for me.
We had a pretty busy day with running around and doing our grocery shopping. I squeezed in my strength during the afternoon and felt pretty good about it.
It was not the worst day or the best day in the garage gym today by any means. Some days will go like this though. Itβs still better than not doing anything.

My strength for today went pretty well. I managed to perform all of my lifts with no difficulties including my sets of front squats that were on the heavier side of things for me.
Today was a busy day in the garage gym. I started out bright and early with my normal strength. I then did two street parking WODs a couple of hours apart so I could do the 700th one with Molly.
Every once in a while I get the urge to do either a WOD or my lifting or maybe both with no music at all. Thereβs something about it that makes it feel even better. Todayβs lifts were performed that way and they felt great.
Having done my Crossfit Total a couple of days ago I took a couple of days off then reset my weights. It worked out perfect so that I was only lifting prettylight on days we wanted to get out geocaching.
I felt great getting back into the garage gym today. With the stress of the tree issues, I havenβt felt like working out and felt I couldnβt focus at all, so I skipped a day or two.
My strength went okay today, even though it was very humid from the tropical depression. I did a WOD later in the day. The worst thing about that WOD was the absurd amount of sweating I was doing from the humidity.
I took my lifting a little slower again today. I was really feeling overheated today. Probably the heat and humidity killing me. Things went well apart from that.
My front squats were challenging to say the least this morning. Everything else went okay. I made some heavy front squats, but they were in no way a walk in the park.
Today I had zero energy. Not only that by my legs felt like dead weight. Somehow I still made all of my lifts for today.
After a couple of nights of poor sleep, I had a good nightβs sleep, last night. Iβm feeling quite a bit better now. It really helped me with my lifting today.
I have been taking it a bit easy with my lifts since I did my Crossfit Total so I could recover. Now I am sort of back to normal with the lifts.
Today was an excellent day for me in the garage, and very much to my surprise too. My regular strength and my twenty rep squats which I did felt great!
It is hotter than Hell Today. It was about 90β when I went out into the garage, but I still did okay with my stuff. I am thankful that we have and use an air conditioner for our garage gym.
Last nightβs temperature was very cool for this time of the year, with it getting to near 50. I slept better due to that. Today is much cooler, too, so I felt better in the garage. I had a fantastic day lifting.

Today in the garage my lifts were heavy but they felt surprisingly good to me. There seems to be really no rhyme or reason to when they feel good and donβt sometimes.

I had an unexpected couple of day break from working out. Sometimes life throws curveballs at you. Our breaker box was shorting out and causing half the power to flicker. I was obviously too stressed to work out.

This morning I got my normal lifting session in. Later on we made up a WOD with our sandbags and the sled instead of a Street Parking WOD. We wanted to play with the sled. Itβs only the second time weβve played with that new toy.

It doesnβt happen often, but every once in a while my hamstring gets a good cramp on a tough bench press. Today was one of those days.
