Last week was just hot and humid. It brought our highest temperature of the year and our longest heatwave of the season.
Today turned out to be a pretty good day for my lifts. I got them in after messing with some yard work and going to for a game of mini golf, then more yard work afterwards. It was a great day out in the sun.
Today I had a pretty good day lifting. I was able to take my time and enjoy my lifts. When the heavy deadlifts came up, I got distracted by an annoying lawnmower, so ended failing the third rep.
Today is the first hot day of the year, with it getting into the Nineties. This morning was just humid. I did my lifts early, and they all went well. Later during the afternoon in my infinite stupidity I did a WOD, and it went okay. Just lots of cramping.
I did better than I expected that I would with my lifts this morning. Friday I got my COVID-19 booster shot and felt like shit yesterday. At least I slept better last night.
It was a pretty good day for me in the home gym. I made all my lifts. The WOD was really tough because by that time it was in the 70s with a dew point in the upper 50s.
You know that it must be pretty humid when the sun is shining, but it’s raining. There were only very thin clouds, but it was raining enough to wet the ground this afternoon.
It is hotter than Hell Today. It was about 90 ℉ when I went out into the garage, but I still did okay with my stuff. I am thankful that we have and use an air conditioner for our garage gym.
Today brought heat and humidity. That helped us get a decent thunderstorm later in the day.
After we got done with the grocery store I did my strength for today and it felt great. Power clean day!!
I did another WOD after I did my birthday burpees. I upgraded the burpees to burpee pull-ups again this year.
Today was a good day in the home gym. I did my lifts and they felt great. The WOD was tough but successful too. They always leave you feeling good.
We finally installed the air conditioner in the garage window. That will help with the heat and humidity. It wasn’t too bad today but I did have it on to dry the air up a bit. Later I came up with the dumb idea to do a brutal WOD outside in the heat.
It was another hot day today. The middle nineties type of heat made it too hot for me to workout. Fortunately the day was capped off with aa nice very heavy and cooling thunderstorm
Installing the air conditioner in the gym’s window is paying off now. I did my lifting with it on while it was in the middle 90s outside. Without the air I would have most likely failed due to heat.
It was a hot day in with the high shooting up into the middle nineties after a low in the low sixties. I still doubled up on WODs.
We finally installed the old air conditioner in one of the garage windows. That will make it more pleasant in the garage folr working out. The air conditioner helped me get through my lifts this morning. Later on in the afternoon w did a WOD together out on the patio
It wasn’t quite as humid this morning so I did my strength work then instead of waiting.
Today was a lazy day for me. It was just too damned hot and humid to workout for me. I’m just pouring sweat doing nothing.
This morning it was humid but my squats and bench actually felt pretty good. I was going to do a WOD too but lost track of time and forgot to do one.
The heat and humidity are still screwing with me lifting. Today it was a cause of a double failure on my lifts. Disappointing but not unexpected since my body doesn’t deal with heat very well.
The past couple of days have been hot and very humid with showers and thunderstorms popping up every day. A nice cluster popped up this evening but missed us by a mile or two. We did get a nice view of cloud to ground lightning under the storm.
Yesterday into this morning its been extremely humid. The dew point’s been in the mid 70s. That’s about as humid as it gets around here.
Today didn’t go so well in the garage. It was very humid and I failed my squat from the humidity. I was sweating so much it almost seemed as if the bar was slipping on my shoulders.
This morning began warm and very humid. I did my strength in that heat and humidity. I did a WOD during the afternoon. It was hot when I did the WOD but Thankfully much drier.
I can’t deny it. At least when it comes to doing WOD’s I’ve been a bit lazy. I did my first WOD since Sunday today.
Today it was very warm and humid. That made the day’s lift mentally tough. I just don’t deal with the the heat well.
Today will be the last day of this heat wave that has been affecting us here in central Pennsylvania. Hopefully it ends with a bang meaning good storms.
We had a great time attending a geocaching event. After the event Lynn twisted our arms into doing some more caching. We got caught in a severe storm and lots of roads were blocked by downed trees.
Today we should get some nice thunderstorms and there were already nice looking cells out west this morning. It will be a nice break from the past couple of days of Hell like heat.
