I got the itch to try out a new hosting provider. It seems to happen every so often for me. It’s so spontaneous when I get that itch. While doing that I decided to try out ZFS, finally after all these years and the PF firewall.

Last week I was lazy when it came to WODing. I did a couple and barely did my lifts. I had just been feeling so tired with a stuffy head. In hindsight, I may have had a bit of a bug. Felt great to get outside and do a WOD today.

Once again, we brought our hibiscus plant inside for the winter. It seems to be doing better now than ever. We made room to put it in front of a window that actually gets some natural sunlight.

This morning I clicked a link to a news article about something, and as it turns out the website was a heap of shit. It was a new low for annoyances, with a sticky header that took ⅔ of the page and an autoplay video in it.

I’ve contemplating adding more links to my website. Maybe a bit of a directory even of links to things I like. It really seems things have gotten so hard with good lately. I brainstormed a bit then wrote it last night and this morning.

I happened to see a link to an old recording of Action News from Philly. It brought back plenty of memories. My mom always turned on the news in the morning and evening.

This week is the complete opposite of the weather last week. I glanced at the NWS forecast this morning and it’s the first time I’ve seen snow in the forecast this fall.

I love when websites make assumptions and refuse to work for me. Today I tried to use one that assumed I was on mobile, I guess because of my window size. When I maximized the window, it would load.

We came across an old unlabeled CD-r in the attic. II had to see what is on it, if anything. I was hoping for some forgotten pictures or something, but sadly, it was just a backup of the Windows 98 CD.

Last week I took a brief break from the garage gym. I had been feeling really run down for one. The other thing is my girlfriend had off work, and it was mostly great weather, so we spent a lot of time outside on the trail geocaching.
