Today started off pretty hot, but thankfully the humidity isn’t that bad yet. That will change this weekend, but it feels okay for now.

A big annoyance for me is how so many Android apps force you to hold your device in either portrait or landscape mode.

I saw the first monarch butterfly of 2020, or at least the first one that I am positive that I saw. I thought I saw one out of the corner of my eyes before, but today I was certain.

Yesterday I did two WODs that made my knee and hamstring pretty angry. Much to my surprise my lifts felt good this morning even with the anger in my legs.

I got a new monitor. I didn’t need it, but I wanted on with an actual power button and I thought the touch screen would be nice. It’s been a few months now that I have had my Dell P2418HT for a few months now. Here’s my quick review.

Last week, I skipped my twenty rep front squats, thinking my heavy single would be too much in the same week. I failed the twenty reps at 170 pounds this week not because of weight, but I pressed it too tightly against my neck. tags

After we got done with the grocery store I did my strength for today and it felt great. Power clean day!!

I did another WOD after I did my birthday burpees. I upgraded the burpees to burpee pull-ups again this year.

Today was a good day in the home gym. I did my lifts and they felt great. The WOD was tough but successful too. They always leave you feeling good.

When we started doing WODs at home we needed to pick up a timer. We settled on a GymNext Flex Timer and have been happy with it since we got it.
